Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking any services with The Dream Design Studio.
By making payment, confirming a booking, or engaging The Dream Design Studio's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
These Terms govern all design services provided by The Dream Design Studio ("the Studio") to the Client.
The Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply to the Client's project.
1. Scope of Work
-
The work included within each project will be confirmed in writing before work begins and detailed on the Client's invoice.
-
Only the services listed on the invoice are included within the agreed project. Any additional requests, amendments outside the agreed scope, or new deliverables will be quoted separately and may incur additional charges.
-
The Client is responsible for providing all required content, information, branding assets and feedback in a timely manner. Delays in communication or missing materials may result in adjusted project timelines.
-
Any estimated completion dates provided by the Studio are intended as guidance only and may vary depending on communication, revisions and the timely receipt of project information.
2. Booking & Payment
-
Full payment is required before any work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
An invoice will be issued once the project details have been confirmed. Payment secures the Client's booking and confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
-
All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, in accordance with the Studio's Cancellation & Refund Policy.
-
The Studio reserves the right to pause work or withhold final files until payment has been received in full.
-
If the Studio cancels a project for any reason, a refund will be issued for any work not yet completed.
-
Any international payment processing fees, currency conversion charges, Stripe fees or PayPal fees are the responsibility of the Client where applicable.
3. Revisions
-
For logo design projects, up to five (3) revision rounds are included.
-
For all other design services, up to two (2) revision rounds are included unless otherwise stated.
-
A revision round consists of one consolidated list of minor amendments submitted at one time.
-
Multiple separate messages containing additional changes may be treated as additional revision rounds.
-
Revisions are intended for minor amendments such as:
-
Text edits
-
Colour refinements
-
Layout adjustments
-
Small design refinements
-
-
Major design changes, new concepts, significant alterations or changes to the original project brief will be quoted separately at the Studio's discretion.
-
Additional revision rounds beyond those included will incur additional charges.
-
Any inspiration, references or style preferences should be supplied before the scheduled project start date. Significant changes to the design direction after work has commenced may incur additional fees.
4. Client Responsibilities
-
The Client must provide all required information, content and materials at least 24 hours before their scheduled project start date. Failure to provide the required information may result in the project being delayed or rescheduled.
-
The Studio cannot be held responsible for delays caused by incomplete information or slow communication from the Client.
-
The Client is responsible for ensuring all supplied information is accurate and final, including:
-
Spelling
-
Grammar
-
Dates
-
Contact details
-
Prices
-
Website links
-

-
-
If a project requires rescheduling due to missing information or lack of communication, a rebooking fee of 50% of the original project value will be required to secure a new project date.
-
If there is no communication from the Client for 30 consecutive days, the project will be considered inactive and may be closed. Projects reopened after this period will require payment of the original project fee and will be scheduled according to current availability.
5. Turnaround Times
-
Estimated turnaround times begin only once:
-
Full payment has been received.
-
All required content has been supplied.
-
The project has officially commenced.
-
-
Turnaround times do not include delays caused by waiting for Client feedback or revisions.
-
Projects requiring extensive revisions or additional work may require additional completion time.
6. Trademarks & Licensed Elements
-
Where appropriate, the Studio may incorporate royalty-free or licensed design elements into artwork.
-
Certain licensed elements may be subject to separate licensing terms and may not be eligible for trademark registration.
-
If the Client intends to trademark a logo, they must inform the Studio before submitting any trademark application so that suitable guidance or alternative design options can be discussed.
-
The Client is solely responsible for conducting trademark searches and securing trademark registration where required.
-
The Studio does not guarantee trademark eligibility and accepts no liability for trademark disputes.
7. Website Design
-
Website designs are initially developed and approved on desktop unless otherwise agreed.
-
Once desktop approval has been received, the Studio will optimise the design for tablet and mobile devices where applicable. Minor layout differences between browsers and devices may occur due to software updates, browser compatibility or screen sizes.
-
The Studio is not responsible for future changes caused by third-party platform updates after project completion.
-
Any requested website updates after final handover will be quoted separately.
8. Final Files
-
Final logo packages include:
-
PNG
-

Editable working/source files (including AI, AF, PSD or other native design files) are not included unless specifically agreed in writing and may incur an additional fee.
-
The Studio retains project files for six (6) months after project completion. Following this period, files may be permanently deleted.
-
Clients are responsible for downloading and safely storing all supplied files.
-
If files require recreation because the Client no longer has access to their copies after deletion, this will be treated as a new project and charged accordingly.
9. Proof Approval & Printing
-
The Client is responsible for carefully checking every proof before approving artwork.
-
Approval confirms that all content has been checked and accepted.
-
Once artwork has been approved and sent to print, the Studio cannot accept responsibility for any errors identified afterwards.
-
If reprinting becomes necessary due to approved artwork containing errors, all associated costs will be the responsibility of the Client.
-
The Studio is not liable for colour variations, print quality or production issues once files have been approved and supplied to a third-party printer.
10. Shipping
-
Where printed products are supplied, responsibility transfers to the courier once the parcel has been dispatched.
-
The Studio is not responsible for shipping delays, damaged parcels or lost deliveries.
11. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
-
The Client may not upload, submit or input any artwork created by The Dream Design Studio into artificial intelligence (AI) software or generators for the purpose of editing, recreating, generating derivative works or producing similar designs without prior written permission.
-
The use of AI to modify, replicate or reinterpret the Studio's work is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorised in writing.
-
Any unauthorised AI-generated adaptation of the Studio's work constitutes a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
12. Limitation of Liability
-
The Studio shall not be liable for any loss, damage, business interruption or financial loss arising from the use of the completed design once approved by the Client.
-
The Studio is not responsible for errors discovered after final approval, including but not limited to spelling, grammar, pricing, dates, contact information or other Client-supplied content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Studio's liability shall be limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the relevant project.

-
The Studio shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performing its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, accidents, severe weather, internet outages, power failures, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
